Day 1: Pick-up in Tangier – Volubilis – Moulay Idriss – Fez
Our guide will pick you up at the port or airport in Tangier at the scheduled time, and then we will start our journey to Fez, the first of the imperial cities and proud home of one of the oldest universities in the world. We will stop at the well-preserved Roman remains of Volubilis en route. In the afternoon, we will arrive in Fez, where we can enjoy the sunset while exploring the walls and gates of its medina or simply enjoy welcome tea at the riad. We will also be able to see a panoramic view of Moulay Idriss, the holy city. Overnight in a riad.

Day 2: Visit of Fez – Ifrane – Middle Atlas – Cedar Forest – Midelt – Merzouga
We begin our guided tour of the medina, declared by UNESCO, its winding streets, organized by guilds of potters, dyers and other artisans, as well as the activity of its population, will take us back in time. We will see that it is a medieval city and that the clock has stopped. Leaving the ancient city of Morocco, we will pass through Ifrane, nicknamed “The Moroccan Switzerland”, not far from Fez, before reaching the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas, where we will stop to see the local monkey families.

The Atlas Mountains are about to begin. As we enter the Great South, a surprising change of scenery awaits us. We will pass through the Ziz Valley, which is a huge green area in the heart of the desert. We will start to see mud buildings, palm trees and some distant kasbahs; we are getting closer to the desert. Dinner and overnight in a riad.

Day 3: Merzouga Dunes – Khamlia – Rissani – Camel trekking and night in Nomad Tents.
After breakfast in the morning, we will head to the slave settlement of Khamlia, where we will enjoy a gnawa music recital and a refreshing mint tea. Upon arrival in Rissani, the historic capital, we will tour its market, visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif and enjoy a delicious Berber pizza. In the late afternoon we will change the car for camels to explore the interior of the dunes and watch an incredible sunset. We will arrive at the camp where we will spend the night among the camels. We will have dinner and sleep in the middle of the desert under an incredible canopy of stars.

Day 3: Merzouga Dunes – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges
In the morning you will have to get up early to attend the sunrise, after a delicious breakfast in the open air. Before continuing to the palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad, we will take the road to Erfoud, where you will have the option to visit the factory that produces fossilized marble. Finally we will arrive at the Todra Gorges, one of the strongest places in the south. It is a paradise for climbers and a special area where the Todra River has produced a gorge with vertical cliffs of enormous proportions and astonishing beauty. In the afternoon we will continue to the Dades Valley, also called the Valley of Figs. Passing through Boumalne Dades, we will stop at the “monkey’s paws” after passing through Boumalne Dades. Overnight in the Dades Gorges and dinner.

Day 5: Dades Gorges – of the Roses – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
After breakfast, we will contemplate one of the most outstanding views of the Dades Valley. We will do it from one of the most advantageous places in the mountains. From there, we will be able to see the number of kasbahs and the charm of each one of them. We will arrive in Ouarzazate and, if you are interested, we will visit the Film Studios after making many stops to contemplate the surroundings, such as the Valley of the Roses and the huge palm grove of Skoura.

Next, we will visit the renowned Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, which served as the setting for blockbusters such as Obelix, The Jewel of the Nile and Gladiator. The trip ends with a departure to Marrakech via the mountain pass of Tizi Ntichka, with photo opportunities. Here, the lunar landscape will be left behind and will be replaced by the predominant shades of green, ocher, etc.. Arrival in Marrakech a riad to stay.

Day 6: Marrakech – Discover the red city
Morocco received its name from this city. For a significant part of the year, it stretches in front of the beautiful Atlas Mountains and has snow-capped peaks. It has a history of political, economic and cultural metropolis that has always dominated the history of the Maghreb, and its destiny is linked to that of the different dynasties that succeed each other. The famous Jemaa el Fna square, which for generations has been the most popular theater in the world: snake charmers, musicians, dancers, storytellers, fortune tellers, actors, fortune tellers ….

The Medersa Ben Yussef, the Menara, the Dar Si Said Museum, the Agdal Garden, the Saadi Tombs and the Badi and Bahia Palaces are some of the attractions of Marrakech. Overnight in a riad.

Day 7: Marrakech – Tangier
On the last day of the 7 days tour from Tangier, in the morning we depart to Tangier. You will have the free time until the transfer time to the airport. End of our service.
