Itinerary of the desert Morocco in 3 days
Day 1: Fes - Ifran - Azrou - Erfoud - Erg chebbi Desert
Departure from Fes at 8 am we will head to the desert of Merzouga through the Middle Atlas, and through a national park famous for its cedar forests. On the way, we will pass through towns like Ifrane, known as “Moroccan Switzerland” for its architecture of houses, and Azrou, one of the most famous Berber towns in Morocco. We will cross the valley and Garganas de Ziz, which will take us to Erfoud, famous for its fossils. Arriving in the desert, where we will change 4 × 4 by camels, we will have a pleasant walk of about two hours through the desert dunes to reach the Himas camp in the heart of the desert, where I will be greeted, in the tradition of the desert. with a Berber tea. Night in Himas under the desert stars.
Day 2: Merzouga Desert - Todra Gorges - Dades Gorges
On this day, we have to get up early to see the sunrise over the sand dunes. After breakfast, we went to Rissani and visit the Zouk, which houses the largest market in this area. We will pass in the Berber village of Al-Nif, Tinghir and many other places where we will enjoy different landscapes. We head to the Tougha Gorge, not far from Tinghir, the gorge is one of the best destinations in Morocco. We will have enough time to walk on the giant rock and the stream. Share the trails with the locals, take some of your best photos and then head to the Dades Valley, where you will stay at the hotel.
Day 3: Dades Gorges - Ait Benhaddou - Ouarzzate - Marrakech
After breakfast we will cross the Dades Gorges. We will cross the valleys of Rosas, Qalaat and Magna. During SKOURA we will visit the Kasbah of AMREDILE, until we reach Ouarzazate where we will have lunch. In the afternoon we will start our way to Marrakech, crossing the pass of Tizi Nishka (2260 m) to reach the Kasbah of Ait Benhado. This impressive fortified village is registered as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and is one of the most famous Kasbah of the kingdom. We will arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon and end our service.
