3-day itinerary from Fez to Marrakech
Day 1: Fez – Azrou – Midelt – Merzouga – Desert
We will meet at your accommodation/airport and depart to Ifrane and Azrou through the Middle Atlas Mountains. On the way we will stop in a cedar forest to admire the monkeys in their natural habitat. Crossing the port of Tizi Ntalghamt we will reach Midelt and the Ziz gorges, carved into volcanic rock. We will then reach the town of Erfoud where we will have lunch and continue to Merzouga via Rissani.
In Merzouga, after an invigorating mint tea, you will meet the camel driver who will accompany you on a camel trek of about one hour and a half to reach the camp where you will spend the night. There will be tents equipped with light, mattresses, blankets and pillows. We will have dinner together under a starry sky and after dinner we will gather around the fire to enjoy the sound of traditional Berber drums. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 2: Desert – Rissani – Toudra Gorges – Dades Gorges
We will wake up early to enjoy a magnificent sunrise over the dunes; we will have breakfast at the camp and resume the march with the camels to Merzouga. Here it will be possible to take a regenerating shower and relax. Then we will leave for the Todra Gorges and the Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight in a hotel.
day 3: Dades Gorges – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazat – Marrakech
After breakfast, we will visit the Dades Gorges and head towards Ouarzazate on the route of the 1000 Kasbahs. We will stop whenever you want to take pictures. We will visit the Valley of the Roses and Skoura with its Kasbah Amridil.
Continue to the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou where we will have lunch and have the opportunity to visit the Kasbah of Glaoui.
The trip will continue to Marrakech through the Tizi N’Tichka pass with its altitude of 2260 meters. We will stop to enjoy the breathtaking views of the valley and have the opportunity to visit a cooperative that produces argan oil.
