Itinerary of the trip Morocco 5 days tour
Day 1: Fes - Ifran - Azrou - Erfoud - Desert of Erg chebbi
This trip starts with hotel pick up and departure from Fes. We will cross the Middle Atlas and head towards Ifrane, the “Moroccan Switzerland”, and also visit the pig and monkey forest in Azrou. Lunch will be in Zaida or Midelt, which was the first apple-producing city in Morocco. We will cross the Ziz Valley, which overlooks beautiful palm trees, arrive in Erg Chebbi in the afternoon and spend the first night in a hotel.
Day 2: Merzouga - Discover the desert of Erg Chebbi
This day is full of adventures, after a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we drive to the nomads to discover a different way of life and their activities and have a mint tea. Entering the sand dunes through two oasis of Merzouga, we will approach Khamlia (City of Blacks) for lunch and listen to Gnaoua music. In the afternoon, we take a camel ride that takes us to the high sand dunes to enjoy the sunset and continue to the camp, where you will have a special night, sleeping in the desert under a starry sky.
Day 3: Merzouga Desert - Todra Gorges - Dades Gorges
We will wake up early to see the sunrise over the dunes and take a camel ride at the foot of the dunes. After breakfast, we head to Rissani discovering the Souk (market) which is considered the largest in the area, and Erfoud for a tour of a fossil marble factory, before continuing to the palm groves of Toghog and Tinjadad. We arrive at Todra Gorges for lunch. In the afternoon we continue to Dales Gorge, passing through Boumalne and Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight in the gorges.
Day 4: Dades Gorges - Kelaa M' gouna - Skoura - Ouarzazate
After breakfast, we will start the day towards the Dades Valley to the ancient Kasbahs, where we will take a path that will allow us to admire the kasbahs and palaces of the Valley of the Roses and the Castle of Mgouna. After lunch, we will continue to the palm forest of Skoura, It is located 45 km from Ouarzazate we will pass through the Kasbah of Amridil and go to Ouarzazate in the evening.
Day 5: Ouarzazate - Ait Benhaddou - Marrakech
The fifth day begins with the discovery of Ouarzazate. The city is famous for its suitable environment that attracts filmmakers to film their cinematographic works on the lands of the city, as it is the place where the actors stay during their working time. In the same city, we will visit the kasbah of Touarirt, which is another amazing building and is considered as one of the kasbahs of Thami el-Glaoui. We will then continue through the mountains to reach the Kasbah of Ait Benhado. This impressive fortified village is registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is one of the most famous Kasbahs in the kingdom. In the afternoon we will head to Marrakech and our service ends.
