What to see in Morocco 10 days itinerary

Explore the blue pearl of Morocco

Chefchaouen, often called the Blue City, is a popular tourist destination in Morocco. The city is known for its blue painted walls and buildings, which contribute to the picturesque character of the city. Chefchaouen is located in the Rif Mountains and is a popular stop for those traveling to Tangier and Fez. The city is home to several markets and mosques, as well as a Jewish quarter.

Discover the ancient city of Morocco

Fez is also one of the tourist capitals of the country and one of the most populated cities in Morocco. It must be said that the history of the city dates back several centuries. A dynamic city that still today harbors the vestiges of a past in which Fez was the cultural capital of Morocco, the economic capital, the religious capital… in short, the pearl of Morocco. It was through Fez that Morocco began to shine internationally.

Enjoy a night in the desert

Morocco 10 days itinerary from Tangier to the desert, allows you to live an unforgettable experience. Spending a night in the desert under the stars, you will live another lifestyle as the nomads do. You could also listen to the spiritual music of the nomads.

Discover the humid zone in Morocco

Ifrane is one of the most visited cities in the country especially in winter, when snow covers the roofs of its alpine-style houses. The place is also known for its green spaces and lush trees; we will stop at the famous Azrou cedar forest to see the Barbary monkeys coming out of the jungle. Afterwards, we will leave the Middle Atlas and start driving the High Atlas where we will stop in the town of Midelt for lunch and rest. The city is famous for the production of apples.

Show the red city

Marrakech, known as the red city, is the capital of tourism in Morocco. Instead of its museums and historic structures, the city’s streets and souks are its main attractions. Jemaa el-Fnaa is a good place to start because in the square there is a fresh organ juice. You should also visit the magnificent museums located in the Dar Sidi Said Palace and the Bahia Palace. You won’t be able to resist visiting the Saadi tombs, but they can be crowded. Before heading north to the Koutoubia Mosque, the main promenade with an impressive view of the minaret, pause here for lunch. The souks can be intimidating, so afterwards we’ll head to the lively and tranquil Majorelle garden to marvel among the foliage and flashes of electric blue.

Visit the city of Essaouira

Essaouira is a beach town on the Moroccan coast. We will approach the Skala fortress to see how artists carve Thuya wood. Afterwards, we will walk through the winding streets of the medina to admire thousands of handmade items. Surfers from all over the world flock to this “windy city”. Essaouira has seen the passage of numerous civilizations, including the Portuguese occupation. Consequently, they influence much of the community’s design, but it remains a small town with a fascinating history.

Reviews about Morocco 10 days itinerary from Tangier

A journey that will remain in my heart

Morocco 10 days itinerary From Tangier... to Marrakech, passing through the Western Sahara (the most involving experience), Fez, Chefchaouen, Rabat and the beautiful mosque of Casablanca. An intense journey that will allow you to touch the soul of Morocco from south to north. Facilities of the highest standard - especially in terms of guest care - excellent organization and great availability, both from Hamid who organized the tour, and from our driver Yaya. Recommended? Absolutely.
