Day 1: Marrakech

Pick up at the airport at the time of arrival and transfer to Riad or Hotel.

Day 2: Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate - Dades Vally

The 7 days in Morocco itinerary tour starts with a visit to the Dades Valley, followed by a visit to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will immediately have lunch in a local restaurant near the Kasbah.

Then head to Ouarzazate, known as “La Porte du Désert”, following with a visit to the Kasbah of Taourirt and the Atlas Studios. This small town attracted many foreign filmmakers due to its position and neighboring castles. It has the title of “Hollywood Africa” until recently. Then we head to the Dades Gorges through the valleys of Roses and Dades. Finally spend the night in a riad or hotel in the Dades Gorge, with a traditional Moroccan dinner.

Day 3: Dades Vally - Todra Gorges - Merzouga Desert

After a delicious breakfast, continue our tour 7 days Morocco itinerary to visit “Monkey’s Toes”. We will then leave the Dades Valley and head towards Tinghir and Todra Gorge, where we will have excellent views of the ancient Berber mud villages overlooking the valley. Continue to Alnif for lunch before heading to the beautiful dunes of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga. A trained camel driver will be on hand to pick us up on arrival and take us for a camel ride through the rolling sand dunes of the Magnificent race in poor condition. You will relax, enjoy the scenery and sandboard on your break.
Then, spend the night in a typical Bedouin tent in a luxury desert camp.

Day 4: Merzouga - Rissani - Ziz Vally - Midelt - Azrou - Ifrane - Fez

On the fourth day of the tour 7 days Morocco itinerary we have up early to see the sunrise from the top of the great sand dunes, then return to the camp for shower and breakfast. When we are ready, we will head north to Fez, stopping in Midelt for lunch, then continue through the Ziz valley and the Middle Atlas, stopping in Azrou to enjoy the nature and the Gouraud Cedar, the largest snowy conifer in the area that feeds hundreds of Gibraltar monkeys. People living in the area, before continuing to Fez. Overnight in Hotel.

Day 5: Fez - Chefchaouen

Morning guided tour of the oldest cities of the empire. In 808, it was founded as the first political, religious and cultural capital of the world. The tour starts at the Golden Gate of the Royal Palace. Then we will enjoy from an elevated perspective of the wall that surrounds the historic and wonderful city center, where we will walk and experience the hundred of sensations it evokes. Until we reach the tannery, we will see mosques, madrasahs and religious buildings. In the afternoon we will head north until we reach the countryside where our destination is, Chaouen. You will have free time in Chaouen (also known as Xaouen or Chefchaouen) to explore the city on your own.

Day 6: Fez - Rabat - Casablanca

After breakfast, we leave the blue pearl of Morocco and head towards Casablanca. On the way, you will stop in Rabat, the capital of Morocco and home of the king, for lunch and to enjoy the sights of this beautiful coastal city. After lunch, you will arrive in Casablanca, the commercial center of Morocco.

Day 7: Casablanca - Marrakech

At the beginning of the last day of the tour, after breakfast we depart to Marrakech, passing through a fertile agricultural region of Morocco. Arrival in Marrakech and free time to explore the city. Finally overnight in Riad.this is the end of our tour 7 days Morocco itinerary.

Tour of the imperial cities and southern Morocco

Perfectly organized trip, attentive and courteous staff. Our driver, Youssef, was on site very professional and friendly, gave us excellent advice and expertly explained what we were going to visit. The Riad we stayed overnight and the planning of the visits was excellent, despite the added difficulty due to the pandemic. In short: I highly recommend this pitcher, even to Spaniards who plan to live abroad (as was my case), of course in my head. Thank you and see you next time!
