Itinerary of the 3 days tour in morocco
Day 1: Marrakech - Ait Benhaddou - Ouarzzate - Dades Gorges
The first day of the Morocco Tour 3 days, starts with the pick up from the hotel in Marrakech and the beginning of the journey to the Dades Gorges. Through the streets of Marrakech, we will head to the Atlas Mountains where we will have a panoramic view over the mountains and the Berber villages on the way when we stop at the mountain pass of Tizi N’Tichka which is at the top of 2260m above sea level. Continuing on, we will continue through the mountains to reach the Kasbah of Ait Benhado.
After leaving the Kasbah, we will cross the city of Ouarzazate. The city is famous for its suitable environment that attracts filmmakers to film their cinematographic works on the lands of the city. In the same city, we will visit the kasbah of Touarirt, which is another amazing building and is considered as one of the kasbahs of Thami el-Glaoui. After lunch, we will leave Ouarzazate and drive through the palm grove of Skoura and the town of Kelaat M’Gouna, known for its valley of roses. Finally, we will arrive at the Dades Gorges where we will spend the first night in a hotel.
Day 2: Dades Gorges - Todra Gorges - Merzouga Desert
After a tasty breakfast in the Dades Gorge, we will drive through the incredible landscapes of Boumalne Dades to reach the Todra Gorges, one of the best destinations in Morocco. Afterwards, we will cross the city of Tinghir and drive through the lands of Tafilalt, known for its drought and its oasis. In the afternoon, we will reach the Sahara desert. In Merzouga, we will move to the edges of the Erg-Chebbi sand dunes, where camels await us for an unforgettable camel trekking experience.
Riding the camels across the dunes, we will enjoy the desert views, especially when we stop over the dunes to witness a magical desert sunset. Once at the camp, the hosts will cheerfully welcome you and show you to your well-equipped nomad tent. Dinner will be served to the accompaniment of Berber drum music to make your stay memorable. At the camp you should also not miss the incredible views of the stars as they shine clearly in the sky.
Day 3: Merzouga - Rissani - Ziz Gorges - Midelt - Azrou - Ifrane - fez
On the third day of the Morocco Tour 3 days, we will leave the desert of Merzouga and start our journey to the city of Fez. First, we will visit the city of Rissani and its market which is considered the sok of the Tafilalt area, then we will stop at the Ziz gorges near Errachidia. the gorge is totally green and offers great possibilities to enjoy the panoramic scene of the palm trees. we will arrive to the city of Midelt for lunch and relax a little. The city of Midelt is famous for its first place in the production of the apple.
Leaving Midelt, we will start driving through the Middle Atlas, known for its green and humid landscapes. The cedar forest of Azrou will be our next stop, where we will stop to see the cedar forest and the Barbary monkeys that live and play along the roads. A 30 minute drive will take us to the city of Ifran. The city famous for its alpine architectural style makes it one of the best cities in Morocco. Our stop in Ifrane will include a stop by the statue of the sculpted lion. Afterwards, we will leave Ifrane and cross the city of Imouzzare Kandar to finally reach the city of Fez. The 3 days tour ends leaving you at your accommodation.
